This page deals with some of my interests - such as golf, guitars, music, TV, pc's & food.

Golf has got to be the hardest sport known to mankind. Forget hitting a curve ball. Forget making a 3 pointer from 25 feet. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. But hitting a golf ball 157 yards to a tiny area, driving a ball 280 yards straight down the middle or sinking a winding 20 footer on the green gives a person a thrill that can't be matched. The thrill, the excitement..............awwwwww......the joy of it all. I'm reserving a web page to scan in my scorecard when I break 70 so check back often. But, don't hold your breath! In the meantime, check out PGATOUR & THE GOLF CHANNEL sites.

I love to play guitar. Never was really great at it but had lots of fun creating music. I can't read a lick of music, but I can read chord tabs. There's a great site that has a ton of chords and lyrics - almost every individual & group you can think of. Click the guitar to go to this site and click on the music of your choice. Just think, you could spend hundreds of dollars buying this sheet music in stores. Ain't the internet great?!

I was lucky enough to see my guitar hero, Eric Clapton, on what he says will be his last world tour. He makes it look so easy. I guess some people were born to do what they're doing. Click the ticket to find Eric.

Another show I attended recently was The Allman Brothers Band. I hadn't seen them since 1973, but they sounded just as good, if not better. Click the tik for a good starting place to read up on the 'brothers'.

Think you've got what it takes to become a blues player? There are some written and some unwritten rules that determine whether you've got what it takes. Click the guitar player to find out.

Growing up in North Carolina, I've been exposed to good ole rhythm & blues music -- sometimes known as BEACH MUSIC.

Ripete Records maintains a good site to order some of those hard to find tunes.

Click the CD to go there now.  Or, click BEACH MUSIC for more info & stories.

And, of course, if we're going to talk about music, we have to link to a Beatles page.

There are so many of them out there it's hard to choose. But, this site will get you started.

Click on the Fab Four to start your tour.

I don't watch as much TV as I used to -- since I got this computer -- but I still have time for two of my favorite shows. I can almost tell you what the dialogue is before it comes out of their mouths. These two shows are set in two extremely different locals, and the humor is totally different. The two pic's below will get you started to a whole bunch of sites. Enjoy the bud-nippin, or find out what THAT's all about.

If you enjoy spicing up your computer with different desktop themes, screensavers, wallpapers and and all kinds of downloads including games, utilities, apps and much more, then check out the sites below for some fun.

And, finally, I've included a couple of my recipes and some helpful household hints. Just click on the Rib button and happy eating!
